THE
drug test on city officials and officers of the local police force came back
negative. To recall, Mayor Edward C. Codilla and City Police Director SSupt.
Ferdinand M. Garay led their respective subordinates in submitting to drug
testing after the Monday flag-raising ceremony on May 25.
Those
who trooped to Mejia Clinical Laboratory Drug Testing Center are nine elected
officials including five councilors, 25 department and office heads, and 17
police officers. Mayor Codilla is happy to know they all tested negative of
illegal substance use.
The
elected officials who were tested are:

It
was found out that there are four councilors and three department heads who did
not take the drug test. The department heads were on travel that time, it was
learned. Biacolo advised them to undergo the test in compliance with CSC
Memorandum Circular No. 13 s. 2010 which carries the subject “Guidelines for a
Drug Free Workplace in the Bureaucracy.”
