LGU workers complete training from IsraAid

IsraAid's training for LGU
workers.
NON-Government Organization IsraAid conducted the commencement exercises for the completion of its Mental Health and Psycho-Social Services on June 19. The training dealt with different aspects related to the family with topics on children and their trauma; grief, mourning and loss in the family; substance abuse; family dynamics in crisis situations; and gender-based and domestic violence.

The trainings were held every first and second week of the month for the past 11 months that were joined by 99 participants from the following offices:
Health Department consisting of midwives and health workers - 9 participants;
Education Department consisting of teachers, guidance counselors and school nurses - 34;
Disaster responders and community volunteers consisting of policemen, firemen and prison officers - 5
City Social Welfare and Development Office - 30.
